This is the only paint we recommend you use with our wooden printing blocks – it is easy to use, easy to clean, and will not clog any of the intricate carved details.
This SOLID white fabric paint is specifically designed for use on black / dark coloured natural fibre fabrics. It is also the best paint for printing onto brown paper to create your own gift wrapping paper & tags. Especially snowflake and other Christmas designs.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
The paint physically bonds with the fabric, it doesn’t sit on the surface – once printed and ironed you cannot feel the paint in the texture of the fabric.
Allow paints 24 hours of drying time, and then the fabric needs to be heat set using a DRY IRON (no steam).
Iron with printed side facing up, place a piece of baking paper between the painted fabric and the iron.
Set the iron to a temperature suitable for cotton and iron for FIVE minutes. PLEASE NOTE: it must be heat fixed for washable durability.
Once heat set, fabric paints can be machine washed (inside out or in a garment bag) at a maximum of 40C.
