Summer Solstice Block Printing Workshop
£65 per person – only 6 spaces available

Join us for a unique opportunity to create bespoke prints inspired by Pagan Summer Solstice symbolism. Explore suns, sacred geometry, botanical motifs, as well as traditional symbols including triple goddess, horned god, green man & tree of life. Enjoy this slow craft as you combine design and colour in a mindful, creative workshop.
Suitable for beginners and experienced crafters alike, this relaxed and welcoming session offers the chance to slow down, connect with your creativity, and celebrate the energy of the longest day of the year.

What You’ll Make
*Hand-print a set of three cotton drawstring bags, then fill them with fragrant Lavender, Rose or Chamomile
*Hand-print your own bespoke Fair Trade pure cotton scarf with elegant fringed edges. 170cm x 70cm in size, exceptional quality from India. Can be worn as a scarf or used as an altar cloth.
*Optional extra project if time allows: Print up to three crystal grid cloths featuring your chosen sacred symbols and designs.

Additional fabrics will be available for you to purchase and print on the day.

All materials are provided, and you’ll leave with a collection of beautiful handcrafted pieces to use in daily rituals, gifting, meditation, or simply to enjoy.

Description

Please note: We will be using fabric paint, so please ensure you wear clothing that you don’t mind getting messy in! Avoid wearing loose / floaty long sleeves. Disposable aprons are provided.

The last ten minutes of the session is reserved for tidying away tools – many hands make light work and we appreciate your help!

WORKSHOP TERMS & CONDITIONS
How do I book a workshop?
Simply purchase your tickets online with a credit card, debit card or using PayPal. Full, cleared payment is required prior to a workshop commencing.

What if I need to cancel my workshop?
If you find yourself unable to attend your booking and it’s more than 14 days in advance, we can offer a refund of 50%. This covers our venue rental costs and administrative fees.
If cancellation is within 14 days of your workshop I’m afraid we are unable to offer a refund. You can always send some lucky friend in your place though – just let us know of the name change please.

What if the event is cancelled?
A full refund will be given if your workshop is cancelled by Dots & Blocks for any reason, or you can elect to attend an alternative workshop instead, space permitting.

How many students are there in a workshop?
We like to keep our workshops small and friendly, so there are usually around 6 – 12 people.
