Please note: We will be using fabric paint, so please ensure you wear clothing that you don’t mind getting messy in! Disposable aprons are provided.
The last ten minutes of the session is reserved for tidying away tools – many hands make light work and we appreciate your help! Also, there will be a fabulous selection of materials available for you to buy – plus we have a card reader too.

What if I need to cancel my workshop?
All our workshops are arranged through private bookings only. As you are booking us, our booking fee deposit of £50* plus any additional payments for tickets is not refundable and not transferable.

What if the event is cancelled?
A full refund will be given if your workshop is cancelled by Dots & Blocks for any reason. For example this could be due to inclement weather conditions that are out of our control. Flooding of local roads, road closures, snow etc

Thoroughly enjoyed the Advanced block printing workshop. After a quick revision of basic technique we went on to tessellations, borders and all over printing. . Karen gave very clear directions and there was plenty of practice fabric to use before we moved on to our own cushion cover and tea towel. Before the workshop Karen got in touch to ask what sort of motifs I liked so she could bring appropriate blocks. That was a great idea and there were blocks for sale too.
A lovely, fun morning and I would recommend it. Have already booked to do the Dot Mandela course next. Many thanks.

After meeting Karen at a local craft market, we decided to book her for a team activity for our team of paediatric occupational therapists.
It was such a fun afternoon and it was lovely to learn different techniques and experiment with the large variety of blocks and colours.
Everyone in the team said it was a lovely afternoon and we would definitely recommend Dots and Blocks to anyone.
It doesn’t matter if you are total beginner or expert in craft – Karen is an enthusiast and will make sure you have a fabulous time.
