Each block printing kit contains everything you need to print a tote bag:
2 x wooden printing blocks
2 x approx 30ml* fabric paint
1 x light natural cotton tote bag (long handled, Fair Trade from India)
1 x paint tray
1 x A3 foam printing mat
2 x small sponge dabbers
1 x full set of block printing instructions

KIT CHOICES
KIT A – butterfly & flower with pink and orange fabric paint
KIT B – butterfly & flower with pink and pigeon blue fabric paint
KIT C – large & small ladybirds with red and black fabric paint
KIT D – large & small dragonflies with turquoise and red violet fabric paint

Note: for washable durability the printed fabrics need to be ironed. Instructions enclosed.

Block printing is suitable for all abilities and is for all ages (recommend 5+ with adult supervision).

The tote bag enclosed is just the start of your block printing adventure. Be creative, the only limit is your imagination! Don’t forget that you can buy more blocks, paints and fabric blanks from us at any time.

You can use these wooden printing blocks for printing designs on paper, card and fabrics etc. They can also be used to applying body paint / creating temporary tattoos. Plus they can be used for creating impressions into clays, handmade soaps etc.

Our hand carved wooden printing blocks come direct from artisans in India, where they have been used for printing fabrics for centuries. Hand printing is a slow & methodical process that is deeply absorbing and quiets the mind.

*All fabric paint is hand dispensed into individual bottles, hence the volume is approx 30mls. Suitable for use on light coloured fabrics.
